Mathletics Challenge – 2012

Saturday, November 10th, 2012 @ (Grade 6: 9am – 11am, Grade 7 and Grade 8: 12pm – 2pm)

Participants: Grades 6, 7, and 8 students

Eligibility: All full time students registered in Ontario Curriculum Schools are eligible.

Objective of the competition:

• Create a passion in the application of mathematics in solving day-to-day scientific and engineering problems
• Create an interest in active thinking and problem solving
• Introduce different facets of mathematics
• Provide hands on experience in engineering problem solving
