Mississauga Chapter

Transportation Development Committee

The Transportation Development Committee promotes discussion and the sharing of ideas related to transportation systems and projects in the GTA.

The objectives of the committee include promoting high quality transportation systems that make a city more liveable, equitable, safe, and sustainable. Committee activities will engage academics, professionals, and stakeholders to “engineer better cities”.

It will also encourage students and engineers to consider Transportation Engineering as a career and encourage them to study it at the graduate and post graduate level.

The Transportation Development Committee was initiated during the 2017 Mississauga Chapter AGM by a motion that was approved by its members.
