Archive News – Shop Locally, Professionally

On August 29th, the Mississauga chapter sent an email looking for a volunteer to represent engineers in the Rogers TV program “Shop Locally, Professionally”.  We are pleased to announce that Vince Gambino, P.Eng. was selected.

Vince has a background in acoustics, noise control and vibration and his professional experience has taken him from Pratt & Whitney in Mississauga to running and building a premier consulting company in Acoustics and Vibration.  He is also a recipient of the Award of Excellence by the ACEC, Association of Canadian Engineering Companies.  His is currently the Director of Acoustics and Vibration Services with Pinchin Limited, a prominent Mississauga Environmental Engineering firm with a rich local history and with offices across the Country.

The interview host is the well-known past Mayor of Mississauga, Hazel McCallion. The interview also includes representatives from the legal and accounting professions.

The program discusses many interesting topics and we encourage you to watch it and share it with your colleagues at work.
