PEO Mississauga Bridge Building Challenge – 2022

PEO Mississauga Chapter held the bridge building challenge on Saturday, Nov 19th, 2022.

The 2022 PEO Mississauga chapter bridge-building challenge was held at Tomken Road Middle School. 110 students from Grades 6 to 8 in the Mississauga area and their parents attended the event. Students did presentations and were evaluated by the judges in the following three criteria: construction technique and quality, creativity & aesthetics, and engineering analysis. Finally, the bridges did the load pressure test by using the bridge buster. The Mississauga city ward 3 councilor, Ms. Chris Fonseca, attended the event. The event was a huge success and students enjoyed the session.

Prizes were awarded to the top 3 highest-scoring students from each grade.
