Call for Nominations – Mississauga Chapter Governing Board

Dear Mississauga Chapter Member:

As of this Wednesday, January 17, 2024, nominations to the governing board (hereafter referred to as the Executive Board) of the Mississauga Chapter of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) for the year 2024 are being accepted by the Chapter’s Nominating Committee.

Chapter members who are interested in being candidates for the Executive Board must fill out a copy of the Nomination Form, which is attached and is also available on the Chapter’s website at http://peo-mc.ca. Two nominators are required to sign the nomination form, and the nominee must accept the nomination by signing the form as well. The nominee and both nominators must be members of the Mississauga Chapter in good standing with PEO and must ensure that all require fields on the nomination form is completed. Furthermore, engineering interns may nominate another member for candidacy, and may also be nominated.

The nomination for the Board and the election procedures are carried out in accordance to Article 4 of the Chapter’s By-Law, which is available from the Chapter’s website at:

All nominations must be e-mailed to the Chair of the Nominating Committee, Mr. Muhammad Khan, P.Eng. at Muhammad.khan@peo-mc.ca and must be received before 6 pm on Friday, February 23, 2024. Kindly note that nomination forms will be accepted by e-mail only. For further clarity, the submission of forms in-person or via other methods such as fax, or regular mail will not be accepted.
