Followed by special talk and meet with Ms. Pam Banks, Executive Director at RIC Centre.

Presenter:

Ms. Banks is responsible for the overall operations of RIC Centre including strategic planning, business development, and managing the innovation ecosystem for Peel. Ms. Banks’ experience includes working with entrepreneurs, and SME’s over the past 14 years in economic and business development through the business enterprise centre networks in Mississauga, Halton and Brantford. Pam also has worked with the Canadian Technology Network to foster the development of business opportunities in Southwestern Ontario. She has a BA in Communication & Business from the University of Windsor and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

RIC Centre is part of the ONE Network and provides support to tech start-ups and growing companies including the RIC Incubator which is co-located with the Xerox Research Centre. The RIC Incubator has worked with successful startups including Char Technologies and ColdBlock to achieve significant milestones including investment, and customer development.

Sandwiches of various types, including vegetarian, will be served.
