The annual Mathletics Challenge organized by the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Mississauaga Chapter will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023. It is a morning full of exciting math challenges and the chance to test your mathematics skills against fellow students from all over the city.

The competition includes both general individual math questions as well as two presentation-based rounds, with each round involving engineering-related mathematics problems. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 highest scoring students from each grade.

This competition is open to students currently enrolled in grade 6, grade 7 and grade 8.

Device Requirements: Please notice that students will need to prepare their own calculators and a device (such as chrome book, laptop or tablet) that could be connected to internet to participate. The questions need to be answered on Google online forms.

Location: Tomken Road Middle School at 3200 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2Y6

Time: 9:00 AM to 1:30 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023

Cost: $6 per student, which includes the pizza lunch

Question Style: The contest consists of multiple-choice questions and is an individual challenge. No team collaboration is necessary for this event.

Preparation: To prepare for this challenge, we recommend you to use Kangaroo, Caribou and Waterloo math contests websites and their sample questions as references.
