The annual Mathletics Challenge organized by the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Mississauaga Chapter will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019. It is a morning full of exciting math challenges and the chance to test your mathematics skills against fellow students from all over the city.

The competition includes both individual and team-based rounds, with each round involving engineering-related mathematics problems. Prizes will be awarded for the top 5 highest scoring students from each grade.

This competition was open to students currently enrolled in grade 6, grade 7 or grade 8 at a school located in Mississauga.

Calculator Requirements: Please notice that students will need to prepare their own non-graphing calculators to participate. The calculators cannot have the ability to communicate with other devices or internet access. Please also notice that smartphone or tablet calculators cannot be used during the contest.

Location: Meadowvale Community Church

Time: 8:30 AM to 1:30 pm on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019
Cost: $10 per student which includes a pizza lunch and drinks (water and juice box).
