About this event
PEO Mississauga Chapter invites high school students (Grades 9-12) in the area to join our online coding seminars, held every Wednesday from October 23 to November 20, 2024.
These five-week sessions will take place virtually via Zoom and will introduce participants to programming using Python. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students interested in computer programming, engineering, and technology to enhance their skills.
To participate, please register using the provided Eventbrite link. Participants will need a computer, internet access, and a Google email account to use Google Colab (URL: https://colab.research.google.com/).
Instructor Biography: Les Carbonaro is an experienced full-stack developer, as well as co-organizer at the Mississauga Coding meet-up group.

- Session 2 (October 30): Control Flow and Functions
- Session 3 (November 6): Data Structures and Lists
- Session 4 (November 13): Working with Data: Importing, Manipulating, and Visualizing
- Session 5 (November 20): Project presentation and discussions
Registration for this event will close on Monday, October 21, 2024.
Requirement: Registrant must have a computer with an Internet connection.
