PEO Mississauga Chapter Women in Engineering Committee would like to invite you to join us for a two part presentation on November 20, 2023. Anne Sado., P.Eng., MBA, will give a presentation entitled “Reflections through my Looking Glass – Career and Life Lessons”. Following will be a presentation by Cheryl Rankin entitled “Powerful Presentations: Toastmasters tips to improve your presentation skills”.

About Anne:

Anne Sado is President Emeritus, George Brown College. She held the position of President of the College from January 2004 to August 2021. Her impact on the vision, direction and culture of the college led to significant growth at George Brown, and activated a critical public discussion on the value of college education in Ontario’s economic development. Anne has dedicated significant time and energy supporting the community in a number of areas. She holds an MBA for the University of Toronto as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering. She was awarded a Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, from the University of Toronto in June 2011.

About Cheryl:

Cheryl Rankin is the Toastmasters Public Relations Manager for District 86. Previously she has held various Toastmaster roles including: Vice-president Education, President, Area Director and Division Director. She has delivered presentations to local events, at national and international conferences. Currently she is a project manager at Jacobs.
