Presentation and Network of EIT and Licensure Assistance Program

PEO Mississauga Chapter is pleased to invite you to participate in a seminar on December 1, 2022.

Tracey Caruana, P.Eng., the speaker of the seminar, is the Manager of Engineering Intern Programs and External Relations at the PEO head office. The presentation will cover the steps to licensing and introduction to the LAP program. Licensure Assistance Program (LAP) is a program that links engineering interns (interns) with professional engineers (guides) licensed with PEO to provide the interns with guidance and support as they progress towards obtaining their professional engineering licence. In the seminar the following items will be presented:

– How do I apply to become a Professional Engineer in Ontario?

– How is international engineering education evaluated by PEO?

– What is the NPPE (National Professional Practice Exam)?

– What engineering experience is PEO looking for?

– How do I prepare my Experience Record?

– What is the EIT Program?

– What is the LAP Program?
