Hydrostor’s Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage’s Technology
On May 18th, 2021, the Mississauga Chapter of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) hosted an online ZOOM event with Hydrostor’s CEO, Mr. Curtis VanWalleghem. The topic of the discussion was Hydrostor’s Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage technology.
The clean technology field is a diverse one where various different technologies are needed for a cleaner future. While there are many companies working towards a variety of solutions, Hydrostor has a unique way of solving the issues we face today to have a greener future. This event, hosted by Professional Engineers of Ontario Mississauga Chapter with Hydrostor’s CEO as a guest gave an overview of Hydrostor’s technology and gave the audience the opportunity to ask questions. Curtis has been the CEO of Hydrostor since its inception and has led the company through technology development into commercial operations. Prior to Hydrostor, Curtis was a Sr. Manager in Deloitte’s Corporate Strategy Consulting Practice where he advised and consulted for some of the top energy companies globally. He has also held positions at nuclear generator Bruce Power and wind developer Environmental Electric Company.
