PEO-MC Bridge Building Challenge – 2020

The annual Bridge Building Challenge organized by the Mississauga Chapter of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2020 (This event has been postponed to a later date due to the public health emergency). Encourage your kids to join the challenge to develop their design, construction, creative skills, and public presentation/speaking. This event is our opportunity as engineers to get kids interested in the profession.

This challenge is open to students currently enrolled in grade 6, grade 7 or grade 8 at a school located in Mississauga.

Date: TBD

Time: 8:30 am to about 3:00 pm (Each grade students will need to stay in the event for about 3 to 3.5 hours during this time frame, tentative schedule is as follows)

8:45 AM to 11:30 AM – Grade 6 students
10:00 AM to 1:00 PM- Grade 7 students
11:00 AM to 2:00 PM- Grade 8 students
Lunch time: 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Venue: Tomken Arena Auditorium, 4495 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L4W 1J9

Registration fee: $15 per team (includes pizza lunch). Each team should have two members from the same grade.

Registration closes: Sunday Feb. 23rd, 2020 at 11:59 pm
